Jean was an independent spirit with a wide range of interests and we shared many interesting conversations over the years. Our friendship began back in 1984 when Jean appeared with us in Witham Dramatic Club’s production of “Cabaret”. We later worked together in a number of productions - and Jean directed two plays for the Club, “Breezeblock Park” by Willy Russell and “Woman in Mind” by Alan Ayckbourn. We will always remember Jean as being strong-minded and thoughtful. She was good company, forever warm and cheerful. We will miss no longer having her around. Anne and Graham Dyster
